I really like learning,
but I never fitted in at
school and found it difficult.
Now I have figured out the
best way for me to learn,

We provide mentoring and education that leads to employment pathways.
From our centre in Reddish, Stockport, we work with schools, statutory services and charities to provide an alternative to mainstream education that pioneers our MEND principles of Mentor, Educate, Nurture and Develop.
This approach is underpinned by the belief that every young person has potential – and quality alternative education provision and youth support can help them realise it.
Our young people are referred to us with a range of barriers and challenges – learning differences such as ADHD, EBD and ASD. We recognise individuals’ challenges and work with key partners to provide specialist support that adapts to their learning needs.
Young people join us for up to four days a week, Monday to Friday, accessing a range of personal development and education opportunities – including obtaining qualifications, developing life skills and identifying and creating happy and healthy relationships with themselves and others.
